Police in Glasgow have released the image of a man they want to speak to in connection with an alleged use of pyrotechnics during a Europa League match at Celtic Park in August last year.

Officers believe the dark-haired man can "assist them with their ongoing investigations" into the incident, which occurred at 9.05pm on Saturday August 18 2021 at Parkhead.

Investigators say a "pyrotechnic-type device" was thrown from the stands during the match, between Celtic and AZ Alkmaar, and landed at the side of the pitch.

Nobody was seriously injured as a result. However, cops want to speak to the man in the picture who was in the vicinity of the area from which the pyrotechnic was thrown - and they believe he may have information that can help them with their enquiries.
