Santa has abseiled down a Scots hospital to bring festive cheer to children spending Christmas there. Father Christmas and two of his most trusted elves abseiled down the Royal Hospital for Children (RHC) in Glasgow.

Families singing Jingle Bells watched through the windows and below Queen Elizabeth University Hospital's (QEUH) Laboratory and Facilities Management building.

The abseil on Wednesday, December 15 was organised by the Balmore Group to support Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, according to Glasgow Live.
