A Rutherglen mum is calling on football clubs across Scotland to Go Gold this September and raise awareness of childhood cancer.Celtic fan Sharon McAllister – along with her daughter Kaiann, 9, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) in February last year – is urging the likes of Hamilton Accies, Motherwell, Celtic and Rangers to light up their stadiums on Friday, September 4.They would be joining Edinburgh Castle, The Hydro, the Kelpies, Camera Obscura and World of Illusions in Edinburgh, Stobo Castle and Drumlanrig Castle in doing so and show their support to the hundreds of children across Scotland who are fighting their own cancer battle.
