Broughton Cricket and Rugby Union Football Club in Yew Street has been granted a premises licence to stay open until midnight on Saturdays.

The club must close its doors by 11.30pm from Sunday to Friday and stop serving alcohol half an hour before closing time every night of the week.

The 'struggling' club which was seeking 'flexibility' for its functions had requested a licence for up to midnight on Friday and 1.30am on Saturday.
