After days of speculation, Rose addressed the situation in an Instagram post alongside a fan video dedicated to her former character. Though she didn't give an exact reason for her departure, only alluding to what happened, she did use the post to discuss why she had, up until this point, not commented directly.

Ruby Rose has broken her silence on her Batwoman exit. While she released a statement with the original announcement of her exit from the CW series, Rose had not yet publicly commented until an Instagram post on Thursday evening, which featured a video made by a fan and a lengthy caption.  "Thank you everyone for coming on this journey," she wrote.

Apparently, it only took one season for Ruby Rose to figure out she’s not ready to become a full-time superhero in the CW Arrowverse, as the lead actress for the network’s most recent superhero launch, “Batwoman,” has hung up her cape and cowl for good. According to Deadline, Rose has informed CW and the crew behind the new hit series, “Batwoman,” that she doesn’t intend on returning for Season 2.
