It's been confirmed that Robert De Niro's grandson Rodriguez has sadly passed away at 19 years old. Leandro De Niro Rodriguez's mother announced the sad news as she paid tribute to her 'beautiful sweet angel'.

Sharing the tragic news on Instagram, she posted a picture of her son, whose cause of death has yet to be revealed. Drena De Niro, the daughter of Hollywood actor Robert and actress Diahnne Abbott confirmed the death of her "darling boy" in a heartbreaking statement on July 2.

She said: "My beautiful sweet angel. I have loved you beyond words or description from the moment I felt you in my belly. You have been my joy my heart and all that was ever pure and real in my life. "You were so deeply loved and appreciated and I wish that love alone could have saved you I'm so sorry my baby, I'm so sorry @carlosmare.
