A Johnstone care home worker has been found guilty of misconduct after failing to provide continence care to residents.Denise Howie has had a warning placed on her registration for 18 months by the Scottish Social Services Council after it was found she caused “discomfort and distress” to a number of care home residents.The SSSC report states that while employed as a Care Assistant by Silverline Care Caledonia Limited, Howie accompanied a male resident to his room on April 19, 2019, and left him there without providing continence care when she knew that he had been incontinent of urine.The SSSC found that a colleague of Howie’s said that the male patient she had left in his room needed changed, to which she replied “It’s almost 8pm” and
