Highlands village have begged Nicola Sturgeon for help after it became swamped with campers. Photos emerged on social media of cars lining the coastal road and tents pitched atop cliffs at picturesque Durness, in the far north of the country.Village bus firm bosses have pleaded directly to the First Minister for her to intervene amid concerns visitors are laying waste to the beauty spot and risking a coronavirus cluster.The Durness Bus account tweeted: “Nicola Sturgeon please help, our little village is being swamped - 27 tents on the wrong side of the campsite fence on Sango tonight.“Parking on the verges, in passing places and in the machair, multiple fires and no end in sight.
