Famed the world over for his role in Goodfellas, Ray reportedly passed away in his sleep while working on a film in the Dominican Republic.
Three days before his death Ray shared some exciting information about the upcoming flick, Cocaine Bear, on social media. The movie is about a 500lb bear that takes cocaine before going on a rampage, threatening the safety of a local town and its inhabitants, the Mirror reports.
Ray took to Instagram sharing a screenshot of a headline about the project which read, ' Elizabeth Banks' 'Cocaine Bear' Sets February 2023 Theatrical Release'.He was set to star in the film and shared a short synopsis with fans, writing: “Cocaine Bear follows an oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists and teens converging in a Georgia forest where a 500-pound apex predator has ingested a staggering amount of the white powder and goes on a coke-fuelled rampage seeking more blow — and blood.”His fans appeared excited in the comments, sending congratulatory messages to the Goodfellas star."This movie sounds wild!" one fan wrote as another commented: "Great cast!
