Rangers midfielder makes loan move to the Championship

Rangers winger Josh McPake has completed a loan move to Queen's Park.The Coatbridge star has been training hard with the Rangers first-team squad this summer and will now continue his development with Owen Coyle's Championship side on a season-long loan.It is the 20-year-old's sixth loan deal in three years following stints at Dundee, Morton, Harrogate Town, Morecambe and Tranmere Rovers.And he could make his Spiders debut in this afternoon's Premier Sports Cup clash with Hamilton Accies at New Douglas Park.After joining Queen's Park, McPake told the club website: "I am really looking forward to be joining and getting started with Queen’s Park."The project is really exciting and I’m looking forward to working under the experience of Owen Coyle, Marijn Beuker and the rest of the staff, to have a successful season."I have worked really hard in the break to come back in good shape and I enjoyed getting back in to Rangers after three loan spells down in England, playing senior football at a strong level."I’m now just looking forward to meeting the lads and getting going."Gaffer Owen Coyle said: "Josh is in great shape to immediately make an impact in our team.’"We are delighted with the loan of Josh from Rangers."After three loan spells down south he was looking for a good club in Scotland.
