Queues along main roads as barbers and hairdressing salons reopen

As of today, barbers, hairdressers, and nail salons were able to reopen for the first time since before the third national lockdown in January.

In Fallowfield, dozens of people lined Wilmslow Road earlier this morning as they waited to get their lockdown locks trimmed at Fade Masters Barbers.

And at Standish Hairport, in Wigan, a line of eager customers wound out of the door and along the main road. After months of waiting, many were desperate to have their unruly barnets snipped.
