Queen launches own line of condiments – with ketchup costing £7

The Queen has launched her very own, and very pricey brand of tomato ketchup and brown sauce that include their own Royal Estate label.

The monarch, 95, has introduced the new condiments for sale at her Sandringham estate in Norfolk.The tomato sauce is described as “ideal for breakfast or any time of the day.” The royal brand of sauces come with a hefty price tag, being sold at £7 a bottle, quite a leap from a Sainsbury’s own brand version at just 60p a bottle.The very royal tomato sauce is said to include flavours of dates, spices and apple juice and comes in a glass jar that includes a Royal Estate label on it.

Vibrant and fruity, this ketchup can be enjoyed any time of the day, perfect to add flavour to a dish." A brown sauce is also available at the same price tag of £7 and is described as: “a tomato based sauced packed with vinegar and spices." According to The Mirror her Majesty is reportedly a fan of these condiments but isn’t a regular user of sauces.
