The Queen has stunned royal fans after adding a new addition to her famous litter of corgis, however, to everyone's surprise she has opted for a different breed.

The monarch is now owner to an award winning cocker spaniel who she's calling Lissy. It's reported that The Queen , who recently celebrated her Platinum Jubilee, was inspired by Prince William and Kate Middleton's dog Lupo.

Lupo tragically passed away in November 2020. The four-year-old dog is nicknamed after Queen Elizabeth II herself, and is her first gundog champion, reports OK!
