Police today uncovered an illegal cannabis farm containing plants worth three quarters of a million pounds. Officers from Greater Manchester Police carried out a search warrant at an address in Cheetham, in Manchester, this evening (January 24).

What they found inside was a huge cannabis growing farm worth an estimated £750,000. Police have now urged the public to come forward with any information that could help with their investigations to help them "continue taking drugs from the streets." "If anyone has any information please pass it to us so we can continue taking drugs from the streets." The crackdown was made just a week after another large cannabis farm was uncovered on Hawkeshead Road, also in Cheetham Hill.
