Police cordoned off a Bury supermarket this morning after the shop was hit in a ram raid burglary overnight. Officers were called to the Co-op on Walmersley Road at around 1am on Thursday morning (January 4) to reports of a burglary.
Pictures from the scene this morning show forensic teams at work inside the store. No arrests have been made, but Greater Manchester Police said enquiries are ongoing and the shop remains closed.

just click here to give it a go. A GMP spokesperson said: “At approximately 1am on Thursday 4 January 2024, officers were called to reports of a burglary of a premises on Walmersley Road in Bury. "No arrests have been made at this time although enquiries are ongoing.”
