An area of the car park, near Costa Coffee and McDonalds, remained taped off early on Monday morning as enquiries are ongoing.A worker within the centre told Edinburgh Live of their concern after arriving to see the car park cordoned off at around 6.30am.

They said: "That whole side of the car park is completely blocked off and there is police tape around the trees next to the main road. "I saw a police car next to the blue tent and another big police van at the junction next to the roundabout.

It looks like Costa and McDonald's are both completely cordoned off and nobody can get in."It was quite scary as I usually park at that end and saw the police as I arrived.
