A former police chief gathered the views of officers in a 'learning paper' he helped compile in the aftermath of the attack.

Craig Thompson, now retired but then a GMP Superintendent, said one of the main 'drivers' of the paper was to assess first aid training on the part of the officers who entered the City Room blast zone.
