PHILLIP Schofield was left in hysterics after producing what appeared to be a sex toy from his Santa’s sack of Christmas presents.

The 58-year-old was hosting ITV’s How to Spend it Well at Christmas last night when the festive show featured a segment on kitchen gadgets.

However, Phil and telly chef Matt Tebbutt, who helped rate the kitchen gadgets, were left in a fit of laughter over one £7.95 device, which looked more like a sex aid.

He produced the small, red oval-shaped object from a box on a work-top and said: "So every year I fail to impress you on any level….
