A councillor has suggested the leader of the local authority ought to “seriously consider his position” after two colleagues he accused of breaching a code of conduct were cleared by investigators.
Highland Perthshire councillor Xander McDade made his opinion known after it emerged the Ethical Standards Commission (ESC) had decided not to uphold complaints PKC leader Murray Lyle made about councillors Colin Stewart and Callum Purves last year following a lengthy probe.
