John Lennon and George Harrison, which appeared in the movie Help!, is headed to auction after being lost for 50 years.The model is a 12-string Hootenanny acoustic guitar, made in the early ’60s by Bavarian manufacturer Framus. It famously appeared in the Beatles movie Help!, as Lennon used it to perform a rendition of ‘You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away’.It also features on the studio version of the song, and in ‘Help!’s title track, ‘It’s Only Love’ and ‘I’ve Just Seen A Face’.

George Harrison’s widow Olivia writes poetry book dedicated to late Beatle
George Harrison‘s widow Olivia has written a book of poetry dedicated to her late husband.The collection, titled Came The Lightening, contains 20 poems that Olivia penned to George following his death in 2001.The work is set for publication on June 21 via Genesis Publications and is available to pre-order here.In a statement about the work, Olivia said: “Here on the shore, 20 years later, my message in a bottle has reached dry land. Words about our life, his death but mostly love and our journey to the end.”According to a statement from Genesis Publications, the poems will explore “the intimacy and emotional connection” of the Harrisons’ relationship, as well as “delve into the phenomenon of losing a partner and the passage of time”. Eddie Vedder resumed his ‘Earthling’ US tour this week, and his first show back saw him perform a cover of Pretenders‘ ‘Precious’ alongside Duff McKagan.A couple of the Pearl Jam frontman’s tour dates in California were postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak, but on Monday (February 21) he got back on the road with his first show back taking place at Benaroya Hall in Seattle.The setlist for the show was littered with covers, including Tom Petty’s ‘Room At The Top’, Sex Pistols’ ‘God Save The Queen’, The Who‘s ‘I’m One’, George Harrison’s ‘Isn’t It A Pity’, and Bob Dylan’s ‘All Along The Watchtower’.There was also a cover of Pretenders’ 1980 record ‘Precious’, which Vedder performed with help from Guns N’ Roses bassist McKagan.
