The Blues boss admitted that there had been a few distractions in the build-up to the Newcastle game after it was confirmed three days earlier that they have been crowned Premier League champions again, albeit they were still able to claim a 4-3 victory.
As well as preparing for the final two league matches of the campaign, City are also gearing up for their first Champions League final; they take on Chelsea in Porto at the end of the month.
