Paisley Pirates ready for 'surreal' significant homecoming return to Braehead Arena

Head coach Ian Turley admits he won’t allow himself to believe Paisley Pirates are back until the first puck hits the ice at Braehead Arena.

It’s been a long, tumultuous road since the Pirates last skated out for a competitive fixture at their home rink in February, 2020.While the coronavirus pandemic raged on, the Paisley club also had to contend with the fear of going out of business as the future of Braehead Arena hung in the balance.Thankfully for everyone involved with the Pirates, neighbours Glasgow Clan were able to take control of the rink meaning they could both gear up for a return to action.Tomorrow marks the homecoming night for both clubs, with Pirates taking on Belfast Giants SNL at 4pm before the Clan face off against
