John Legend
John Roger Stephens (born December 28, 1978), known professionally as John Legend, is an American singer, songwriter, producer, actor, and philanthropist. Prior to the release of Legend's debut album, Get Lifted, (2004) he had collaborated with already established artists and signed to Kanye West's GOOD Music. Legend has sung on Jay-Z's "Encore", Alicia Keys's "You Don't Know My Name", Dilated Peoples' "This Way", Slum Village's "Selfish", Fort Minor's "High Road", and played piano on Lauryn Hill's "Everything Is Everything". Legend's single "All of Me" from his fourth studio album Love in the Future (2013) was a Billboard Hot 100 number-one hit.

One-Third of the Recording Academy Trustees Are Grammy Winners: Find Out Which Ones

The board includes two former best new artist winners. A little more than one-third of the individuals on the Recording Academy’s newly constituted board of trustees know first-hand how it feels to hear their name follow the magical phrase, “And the Grammy goes to…” These 14 fortunate people include John Legend, an 11-time Grammy winner (and, since 2018, an EGOT), PJ Morton, who has won two Grammys on his own (and four nominations as a long-time member of Maroon 5), and gospel singer Yolanda Adams.

Ten more trustees have been nominated for Grammys, but have yet to win. The remaining 16 trustees have yet to be nominated for a Grammy.
