Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic Olivia Rodrigo may spill just a little more of her guts at a one-off performance in downtown Los Angeles this week, as American Express announced Sunday morning that the singer-songwriter is set to do an intimate show for its cardholders at the Theatre at Ace Hotel on Monday night.
Said cardholders will have to be quick on the draw. Following the 9 a.m. Sunday announcement, tickets for “An Evening With Olivia Rodrigo” are set to go on sale to AmEx members just an hour later, at 10 a.m.
PT Sunday, via AXS, at this link. Tickets are $25 and will benefit Fund 4 Good, the singer’s new nonprofit. All is not lost for fans who don’t nab tickets for the show in the 1,600-seat former movie palace.
The performance will be filmed and made available to the public as a stream that will go up on Rodrigo’s YouTube channel, beginning Tuesday night at 8 p.m.
