Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

A Scots mum who blogs openly about her battle with post-natal depression says it took her 18 months to fall in love with her own child.

Kirsty Mac, from Knightswood in Glasgow, says her expectations of a "magical" motherhood were shattered after she gave birth to daughter Jessica.

The 33-year-old says she didn't bond with her baby at all for a year and a half, during which time she became "borderline psychotic", suspecting her partner of elaborate affairs and screaming at her own baby girl that she hated her.

To help other future mums who may find themselves in the same situation, she has written and published Not All Mothers Love Their Baby - the book she wishes had been around at the time of Jessica's birth.
