A Northern Quarter bar is said to be offering 'the best tacos and craft beer' in the city with prices starting from £1- and one customer even claimed that the menu made her want to move to Manchester.

When Wolf at the Door first opened in 2019 on Thomas Street, it offered Scandi-style small plates but switched tactics in February 2020 to instead focus on wallet-friendly bar bites, including tacos and bao buns stuffed with a variety of fillings.

Tacos come stuffed with everything from cauliflower shawarma and hoisin mushroom to pork pibil and jerk chicken, while inside the buns you'll find fillings including ham, egg and chips, pina colada prawns, and buffalo chicken and blue cheese.
