Noisy youths dump trash and start bonfires in Perthshire hamlet

Perthshire hamlet are fearful over a hike in anti-social behaviour after groups of up to 40 youths have been spotted starting bonfires and dumping rubbish.

The groups have been seen congregating at Kingoodie Quarry and nearby Seal Point, at the waterfront, over the past three weeks.Some of the individuals have also been reportedly drinking alcohol and even ordering pizzas to be delivered to the beach area.Carse of Gowrie ward councillor Angus Forbes and Murdo Fraser, MSP for the Mid Scotland and Fife region, are calling for action to be taken to quell the rising problem, which is “upsetting” many residents in Kingoodie, many of whom are elderly.
