New travel rules for EU and US tourists come into force in Scotland from today

international travel rules have come into place for EU and US tourists entering into Scotland from today. Fully vaccinated citizens of America and those EU countries on the amber list will be able to enter into Scotland without the need to quarantine for 10 days.

This also means that travellers from these countries will not have to take a Covid test eight days after their arrival into Scotland.

Requirements will still be in place to produce evidence of a negative coronavirus test before travel and on day two of arrival.EU and US passengers must provide accepted documentation to prove that they have been given both doses of recognised vaccines.
