dailyrecord.co.ukRutherglen Exchange shopping centre stores that have remained open during lockdown are now extending their trading hours, while shops which were closed, including Subway, will reopen and some new businesses such as H&T Pawnbroker, have launched.
Centre manager Jane Cowan told the Reformer it was staff’s duty to ensure that all its customers were protected. Jane said: “Our customers have always looked out for us and we know that where possible they will take their own precautionary measures and ours will compliment individual’s standards of hygiene.“Reopening the public lavatories has been a great step as the inconvenience it caused our customers was immense.”Additional safety measures have been implemented across the centre.Jane said that
