New pro-independence party created ahead of next Holyrood election

A new pro- independence party has been formed with the intention of fielding candidates at the next Holyrood election. Colette Walker, a disability rights activist, is listed as the leader of the new Independence for Scotland Party (ISP).

She tweeted that the party would only stand regional list candidates next year in a bid to secure a majority of independence supporting MSPs.
