New chapter for Lanarkshire book group as it secures vital additional funding

A Lanarkshire community group is fully booked - as it has landed funding to take part in Scotland's Year of Stories for 2022.

The Healthy N' Happy Community Development Trust, which run the Camglen book club for bookworms in Rutherglen and Cambuslang, has secured the cash and now aims to realise ambitious plans in the coming months.

The Year of Stories is a celebration of tales inspired by, written, or created in Scotland, with a whole host of events set to be held across the country, showcasing the nation's rich storytelling and literary heritage.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
