Netflix has confirmed that The Witcher will conclude with season five.The streaming giant announced today (April 18) that production has begun on the upcoming fourth season, while a final fifth season has also been greenlit.Seasons four and five will adapt the remaining three books by Andrzej Sapkowski, Baptism of Fire, The Tower of the Swallow and Lady of the Lake, promising to offer an “epic and satisfying conclusion” to the hit fantasy drama.On a the announcement, writer Lauren Schmidt Hissrich said: “It is with huge pride that we begin shooting our penultimate Season of The Witcher with a stellar cast, including some exciting new additions, led by Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia.
