Neil Patrick Harris made an iconic cameo as a version of himself in the 2004 movie Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle and now he’s opening up about the funny story behind his casting.
The 49-year-old actor played an exaggerated version of himself in the first movie and then reprised the role for the two sequels. NPH opened up about Harold & Kumar for a new GQ video feature in which he broken down his most iconic characters. Click inside to find out what he said… “Harold and Kumar was very strange.
I was living in Los Angeles and I got a phone call from a friend that said ‘I’m auditioning for this movie that you’re in,’ and I had no idea what he was talking about,” Neil said.
He continued, “I was not in any movie. And he said yeah, this ‘Harold and Kumar Get The Munchies’ or something it was called at the time I think, and that made no sense.
