Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.
The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.
Nearly half of Scots prefer to give or receive cash at Christmas than gift cards
dailyrecord.co.ukChristmas gift, a new survey has found. Four in 10 (40%) people in Scotland prefer to give cash gifts and that same percentage would prefer to give money in the form of coins and banknotes, the YouGov research carried out in December for ATM network Link discovered.
Younger people were particularly likely to prefer to receive cash, with 45 per cent of 16 to 24-year-olds saying this would be their choice, alongside 43 per cent of 25 to 39-year-olds.
Across the study, just under three in 10 (29%) would prefer to receive Christmas money in the form of a bank transfer, while 14 per cent would want a gift card and 4 per cent would opt for a traditional cheque.
