A talented pianist has taken over as chairman of the youth arts charity Create Paisley.Dr Toni James will serve five years at the helm of the group which strives to transform young people through creative arts.The 31-year-old is aiming to try and deepen the impact of the organisation, which is launching new programmes in Johnstone and Linwood with local groups.Paisley born and bred Toni says the next steps are crucial as, hopefully, the area emerges from the shadow of the pandemic.She said: “The scale and quality of the work the organisation delivers and the impact it has had on young people in Renfrewshire is a testament to its remarkable growth in only a few short years. “That is credit to an exceptional team led by Alan Clark and a
