A huge police response was sparked on Norton Street just before 6pm tonight (Thursday). Police said they found a 16-year-old boy at the scene who had been attacked by two unknown men.

He suffered stab wounds and was taken to hospital, but he sadly died a short time later, a GMP spokesperson has now confirmed.
