Due to the severity of her injuries, Kimberly Caples was unable to look after her three-month-old baby. Walsh, a 27-year-old mother-of-two, was spared a jail term after a court heard how she is the primary guardian of her two children, reports Liverpool Echo.
Prosecuting at Liverpool Crown Court, Martine Snowdon said that Walsh pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent on the basis that the victim had "attended near to the defendant's home address" following a "dispute between the parties".
