Metrolink staff set to go on strike on day of Manchester Marathon

Members of the Unite union are planning a series of one-day strikes, starting on Sunday 10 October, and ending on Sunday 24 October.

The strikes coincide with several big events in the city, including the marathon on 10 October, and Manchester United’s fixture against Liverpool on 24 October.
