BBC has announced the return of a popular TV channel - but some viewers could miss out if they don't update their devices. From Tuesday, February 1, BBC Three made a comeback to live television but millions of viewers might have missed the chance to see its debut since 2016.
Viewers should make sure their telly box is updated to get the most out of BBC Three, the broadcaster warned. Read more: Disenchantment season 4 release date on Netflix and what we know from the trailer Explaining more in a post online the BBC explained: "Freeview users may need to retune to find BBC Three, if it’s not already listed in your EPG (electronic programme guide)." Sky, Freesat and Virgin customers boxes should update automatically.
If you're unsure on how to retune your telly, Freeview has a guide to help you along the way. The BBC also added that viewers using Virgin will need to reset any BBC One or BBC Four series links due to technical changes put in place to support the launch of BBC Three.
Once updated, your Freeview device will automatically find BBC Three via Channel 23 - but this has caused some issues since that slot is already filled by Dave.
