Mel Gibson has found new representation. The actor, producer and director has signed with APA agency, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Gibson had previously been repped by CAA, signing with the major talent firm in 2017. The actor's new holiday comedy, Fatman, in which he portrays a rowdy Santa Claus, was picked up for the U.S.
by Saban Films on Sept. 9, with release plans not yet disclosed. Gibson made headlines in late June after Winona Ryder gave aninterview to the U.K.'s Sunday Times claiming that the actor hadmade an anti-Semitic remark to her at a party in the mid-'90s. (Gibson's reps denied the claim.) The APA signing arrives just over a decade after WME dropped Gibson as a client several years after his 2006 arrest for drunk.
