Adele set to 'return to Las Vegas to perform cancelled residency in summer'

Adele fans could be in for an exciting summer after hopes the singer’s cancelled Las Vegas dates could be rescheduled for later this year.The 33 year old songstress had previously been due to perform a string of shows called Weekends With Adele at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace but, they were cancelled at the last minute as she felt it “just wasn't ready”.

However, the star is rumoured to be finally taking to the Las Vegas hotel's stage during the summer for a run of dates between June and September, due to a gap in the current schedule at the venue.The iconic Caesars Palace is set to host Keith Urban until 18 June and Rod Stewart is due to take over on 23 September, leaving a potential gap in which Adele could reschedule her residency dates in.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: “That is the scheduling that would make the most sense. Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter “Talks are ongoing at the moment, and the hope is that Adele’s rearranged dates will be agreed very soon. “She has made it clear that next year is not an option, and everyone is keen to lock the dates in.” Adele left fans heartbroken when she made the announcement that she was cancelling her Las Vegas residency performances at the last minute.

The star, who recently surprised fans as she pole danced at a London nightclub, gave further insight into why the shows couldn’t go ahead as she said she "wasn't ready" on the Graham Norton Show.
