McDonald's is implementing a new system in 1,088 of its UK restaurants from today

Hundreds of restaurants have now reopened to shoppers, and will be operating in line with social distancing rules. From today, customers will be able to sit inside as the rule of six is extended to indoor gatherings as part of step three of the lockdown roadmap.

Table service and app orders will be encouraged when branches reopen to help reduce crowds in branches. Visitors can also expect limited seating in some cases to accommodate social distancing.
