Manchester United's position at the top of a financial table has shone a light on the club's major shortcoming when it comes to their transfer strategy in recent years.

The table shared on social media this weekend shows that United's net spend on transfers is a staggering £312.1m since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over from Jose Mourinho in 2018, more than £30m more than anyone else in the Premier League.
