Manchester Airport this week.Operators easyJet, Air Malta and SAS have all confirmed they will be bringing back flights to popular European holiday destinations.Meanwhile more shops and bars across the terminals are beginning to open once more, joining the growing number of retailers that are welcoming back customers at the hub.As the airport reaches what would usually be the height of the summer season, passenger numbers are still low amid uncertainty around travel during the coronavirus pandemic.Airport bosses continue to advise travellers to check for the latest advice from the Foreign Office before flying out.Karen Smart, Managing Director at Manchester Airport, said: “We are thrilled to see a number of further routes resuming this.
