Man taken to hospital after car is driven at group before flipping over during 'disturbance' in Hyde

in Tameside. Police say they were called to Water Street, close to the Asda supermarket in Hyde just after 11:30pm on Friday night.

A car was found to have flipped onto its roof following an incident.   "It is understood that a man drove his car at a group of men after having his car damaged" Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said. Read today's top stories here A man, who the Manchester Evening News understands was the car's driver, was taken to hospital as a precaution with an arm injury but has since been discharged.

No arrests have yet been made and enquiries into the incident are ongoing a GMP spokesman said. Officers are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
