Man in hospital with severe facial injuries following Forfar attack as police hunt thug

Police are hunting a thug who attacked a man in Forfar leaving him with severe facial injuries. The victim was approached by a pair of males at the weekend when one assaulted him.

The terrifying incident happened in Chapel Street at about 1.20am on Sunday morning. It took place in a car park near the East & Old Parish Church.Eight stunning drone photos showing Dundee and Broughty from the airA police Scotland spokesman said: “A man was approached by two other men, one of whom proceeded to assault him causing facial injuries which required hospital treatment.“Officers would like to trace a man described as about 18 years of age, about 6ft 2 and slim build with short brown hair and facial hair, and was wearing all dark clothing at the time of the incident.”And they added: “If you have any information that could assist our investigation, please call 101 or speak to any police officer.
