Manchester City fans may have had their first unofficial glimpse at one of the club’s new change strips for next season. City have had many eye-catching designs over the years and are always keen to pay homage to its history.
For instance, this season’s home strip was designed in commemoration of their ten-year anniversary of winning the 2012 title - their first of the Premier League era.
City also bring back a variation of their red and black striped away kit every few years. And it looks like the colours could make a return next season, with a slight twist. Instead of vertical stripes, fans could see first team players don a diagonal pattern when away from home. The last time the red and black stripes were seen was in the 2011/12 title-winning season.
