Kyle Valentine threatened the woman as she sat in her vehicle on the car park of a Denton supermarket before attempting to burgle the home of a young family, Minshull Street Crown Court was told on Monday (April 12).

The court heard that Valentine, from North Wales, approached the supermarket worker while she was sat in her vehicle in the store's car park in January this year.

When she tried to open her door to get out of the vehicle, Valentine began pulling at it, demanding that the victim gave him her car keys before threatening
