Machete-wielding teen 'attempted to draw weapon' after police chase

A teenager has been jailed after being caught with a 'large machete' and class A drugs. Police originally approached Mohammed Sesso in Lever Street, Bolton, on January 26, but the 19-year-old ran away.

After a short chase, he tried to draw a weapon from his waistband but was arrested and remanded in custody. READ MORE: Man United footballer Mason Greenwood arrested on suspicion of rape and assault Sesso, of Tig Fold Road, Farnworth, was also found with a quantity of class A drugs.

He has now been jailed for four months, after being convicted of possession of a bladed article and possession of class A drugs, during a hearing at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court.
