LORD Alan Sugar has slammed the BBC for “ruining” The Repair Shop - sparking a huge divide among fans following his controversial comments.
The 74-year-old businessman, who also fronts his own BBC show The Apprentice, has urged the broadcaster to “fix” the much-loved series and claimed they are “ruining a great programme." Taking to Twitter, the bluntly-spoken entrepreneur suggested that The Repair Shop show focuses more on the emotional side of the stories on screen instead of the repair of objects.
Lord Sugar tweeted: “People really like the show The Repair Shop, lately, it seems to focus more on sad stories of the owners rather than showing the repair of the object.
